Xiaomi officially launched the POCO M3 in November 2020. The phone has a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a screen resolution of 1080x2340px and a water-drop notch. It runs on Android 10 OS with MIUI 12 software and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset with an octa-core processor of frequency up to 2.0GHz. The phone also features an Adreno 610 GPU for enhanced graphical performance. The phone has different variants, varying in amounts of RAM (4GB or 6GB) and ROM (64GB or 128GB). The phone also includes a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a pair of 2MP macro sensor. It has an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The phone also packs a massive 6000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and reverse wired charging.
The POCO M3 is a budget smartphone that offers a unique design, a large battery, and a Full HD+ display with dual stereo speakers. It is one of the best-selling devices in its segment and has a lot to like for its price.
However, the POCO M3 also has a few drawbacks, such as Mediocre performance and lack of NFC. The Snapdragon 662 chipset is not very powerful and may struggle with heavy tasks or games. The 48MP main camera is satisfactory but lacks an ultrawide lens. The 8MP selfie camera sometimes produces low-detailed and noisy pictures, especially in low light.
Overall, the POCO M3 is a good choice for normal usage but has nothing extraordinary other than an affordable price. It is a good-looking phone with a decent camera and amazing battery life, but not the best performer in this era.
